Simple words

In this slow, blustery winter I am finding myself drawn only to the simple words of my favourite poets.

“I am in the middle of it: chaos and poetry; poetry and love and again, complete chaos. Pain, disorder, occasional clarity; and at the bottom of it all: only love; poetry.” ~ Anna Akhmatova

"May the forms of your belonging—in love, creativity and friendship - be equal to the grandeur and the call of your soul.” ~ John O'Donohue

“You are not a troubled guest on this earth, you are not an accident amidst other accidents, you were invited from another and greater night, than the one from which you have just emerged.” ~ David Whyte

I'm so grateful for those of you currently journeying in my grief circles, they are some of the most loving, nourishing and kind spaces I've ever experienced.
