Introduction to grief tending
You are welcome to join our complimentary introduction to grief tending event.
Upcoming dates:
4th April - 18.00 BST
8th May - 18.00 BST
13th June - 18.00 BST
This online introduction to grief tending is a soft landing into the world of grief work, while still offering you a rich taste of the philosophy and intention of this practice.
These circles are intended to be an informative introduction to grief tending, rather than being deeply experiential. This session might be supportive for you if you’re wondering about joining a longer grief tending journey or perhaps if you are interested in learning more about the lost art of grief work.
These introductory circles are held by founder of The Grief Space, Nici Harrison. Each circle includes:
Welcoming and grounding
An introduction to grief tending
A personal practice (journalling or meditation)
Optional sharing or questions
Soothing and integration
If you are feeling hesitant about exploring grief tending, please know that you will not need to actively participate in these sessions at all unless you wish to. You are welcome to simply come, witness and receive.
There are many different types of grief, whether it’s the people we’ve lost, a relationship that ended, regrets we hold, unmet hopes and expectations, ecological grief or the longing for deeper meaning and connection in our lives. All are welcome.
